Volleyball made an inaugural appearance at Asean Para Games with the
participation of four countries; Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand.

AOCVD Introductory Workshop for Sitting Volleyball
An
introductory workshop for sitting volleyball was held in Kuala Lumpur
and participated by 8 members countries. The objective of the
workshop was to encourage and promote the sports of sitting volleyball
among Asia Oceania countries.
